A hectic rush of roadtrips!
Since CSers are usually passing through and don't often stay long, we rushed to squeeze in as many road trips as possible.
To save time and make the most of the short time, we camped in the safety of the van, but when there were three of us, we had to resort to using the tent and hope the bears did not find us! :) :)
Nadine from Germany arrived first and Lauren from Australia arrived a little later.
We made roadtrips to Carmacks, Ross River, Faro, Haines Junction (Kluane), Mayo and Dawson City. On the Alaska side we saw Haines and Skagway.
In Whitehorse we caught the amazing Klondike vaudville show called the Frantic Follies, but we also saw the shows in Dawson (Diamond Tooth Gertie's) and Skagway (The days of '98 show).
Nadine in the remote community of Ross River along the historic Canol Highway where there are many relics of the USA involvement here in the 1940's.
At the wheel of an abandoned mine truck near the Faro mine.
A small rainbow at million Dollar Falls on the way to Haines Alaska.
Although it was a road side pull-out, it made a great camping spot for the night and provided a great view of the Chilkat pass in the morning.
Arriving in Alaska and a stamped passport.

It is 1:30 am and the sun is barely below the horizon!
It was so late and the Dome was so nice, we camped there.

I have saved the best for last, if you come to Whitehorse, you can not miss the Frantic Follies!!!
After a great meal at a historic restaurant, the Klondike Rib & Salmon Bake (where the Prime Minister of Canada has dined), we cross the street to the show.
