Hello Everyone,
It is a 700 km drive from Tagish to Dawson City, home of the Klondike Goldrush. As usual we spent much of Saturday morning sleeping in and lounging around until 10 am. At that point we quickly
dressed for the day and packed the tent and gear into the car. On the way we did a little touring of Whitehorse and headed north. Just shy of Dawson we stopped for the night at a highway rest
area. There we cooked spicy chinese noodles for supper and set up the tent in the snow. Despite an overnight low of -19ºC (-8ºF) we slept comfortable and warm.
The next morning we drove in to Dawson and had breakfast at probably the only open restuarant in town! Afterwards we drove the frozen ice
highway across the might Yukon River.
Now we are Ice Road Truckers!!
Then we walked the streets of Dawson.
Don't press too hard Morgane!!!
Before leaving town we stopped at Robert Service's cabin and Jack London's cabin.
On the return trip we stopped along the highway to talk to two moose!
