Just to update everyone, I finished the Chilkoot Trail for the second time in a blistering (pun intended) three days to Bennett Lake! Took the train back to Skagway after a provided hot meal. Wonderful scenery, more artifacts then I remember and now to find a T-shirt that says "I hiked the Chilkoot Trail - Twice!"
After a noon start, made Pleasant Camp the first night (between Canyon City and Sheep Camp), marched through Sheep Camp and on to the Pass the next day. Caught up to those on their third
day of hiking and settled into Happy Camp for the second night. The next day the pace slowed and we achieved Bare Loon Lake for the third night leaving the final stretch for the next day.
Crawling (almost literally) into Bennett early on day four, to avoid missing the afternoon train, we finished less than 72 hours after starting in Dyea!
I am having problems opening any jpg in MS Photo editor, so I'll only attach a few and leave the rest to Arabelle's blog (She is typing furiously on her laptop as I write, allowing my keyboard
time to cool down). So expect most of her Chilkoot pictures to be posted soon!

The start of the Pass "Ohhhhh #%@&*#$@, I remember this part!"
Climbing the Pass "Didn't you say it was an easy hike?"
The morning view of Bare Loon Lake out the tent door. Who wants to leave?
Campsite at Bare Loon Lake (Yes, there were loons at the lake - and I don't mean the loony hikers)
A few of the nutbars...oops, Chilkoot Survivors at the Bennett Rail Station
